We depart on the 2nd of January 2015 from Johannesburg airport. If you apply early and buy your air ticket soon you will definitely save some money.

One must keep in mind that the Kalahari Vasbyt is not a tourist excursion. It is a strenuous course during which many life skills are learned. We strive to find the perfect places that will highlight the experience.

to 4 Jan 2015 - Klein Kariba: You must be at the O.R. Tambo Airport at 12h00 from where we will travel to Klein Kariba in Bela Bela (Warmbath). This time will be spent with various preparations for the course while we enjoy the final few days of the December holiday.

to 5 Jan 2015 - Woodlands: We overnight at Woodlands just outside Francistown.

to 7 Jan 2015 - Victoria Waterfalls:Here we will visit the falls and tackle the bungee. During the Vasbyt we will rid ourselves of our phobias and you will take on the challenge of the 110 m bungee jump. Bloukrans might be the highest jump, but here at Victoria Falls it is so much better. The narrow gorge, foaming water and the spray from the falls all add up to make this an unforgettable experience. Although there was an accident in the past which led to light injuries, we are absolutely convinced that the new security measures are more than adequate.

to 8 Jan 2015 - Chobe: With adrenalin still bubbling through our veins from the previous day, we will keep the excitement levels high and begin the next day with white water rafting. The rapids below the Victoria Waterfall are the highest in the world and we are going to tackle them. The white water rafting is always one of the highlights of the relaxation on the Kalahari Vasbyt. After the white water rafting we will go to Chobe Safari Lodge camp and enjoy being close to nature.

This is one of the most beautiful areas in Botswana and we will spend a night here to pack our equipment and just relax.

to 10 Jan 2015 - Savuti: We will go on a game drive along the river before we leave for the Savuti. Without a doubt, Savuti is one the areas most rich in game in the whole of Southern Africa.

to 12 Jan 2015 - Khwai River Moremi: Here we are in the Okavango Delta. Khwai is my favourite camp in the delta and we will therefore linger here for two nights.

to 13 Jan 2015 - Maun: In Maun we will buy our supplies and prepare ourselves for the rest of our safari.

to 15 Jan 2015 - Central Kalahari:This is our first day in the biggest national park, the Central Kalahari. Undoubtedly, it is here that we reach the culmination of our course. At the same time it is also the place where you will have your closest encounters with wild animals. Not only physically - you will also have the opportunity to experience how it feels to live in harmony with your Creator and His creation. Thousands of savannah herds migrate across Deception Valley from late December to April. Large prides of lion and other predators follow these herds. At night you will stand watch while your friends are sleeping and we will build trust in one another while we experience the wonders of nature.

to 16 Jan 2015 -Central Kalahari:Route March: Die route march is die culmination of every Vasbyt course and if you are not fit or emotionally prepared and motivated, you will not make it. This does not mean you have to be superman. You will have enough water and the right food to succeed. In the past, even those that did not take part in sport before, have succeeded in this extremely difficult adventure because they trusted and believed in their own capacity for endurance and their own abilities.

to 17 Jan 2015 - Rakops River Lodge: We leave the Central Kalahari and relax at Rakops River Lodge close to Rakops, where we recover and lick our wounds after our extreme hike.

to 18 Jan 2015 - Khama Rhino Sanctuary: In this reserve, between the rhinos and other game, we do our last tough PT.

to 19 Jan 2015 - Little Kariba: The rules of the course are that we do our final time tests on this evening after which we can relax in the hot water spring pools. The waterslides were very popular in the past despite the fact that they are meant to be out of bounds after midnight.

Jan 2015: We drive back to Johannesburg Airport from where you will fly back home or straight back to the town where you attend school.
