The cost of the tour is R29580-00 from either Cape Town or Johannesburg.The tour fee can only be paid by cheque, direct deposit or cash. Credit cards are not accepted. The price is subject to an exchange rate of R10.00 against the Euro. Should the exchange rate or ticket price fluctuate by more than 3%, the price will be adjusted (either way). The final price will be calculated on 01 May 2012. I enclose a deposit of R3000-00 that will under no circumstances be reimbursed (except if Temba College CC should cancel the tour). I further undertake not to request any reimbursement. The balance will be payable on 1 May 2012. Should I cancel my participation on the tour after 10 May 2012. I shall be responsible for the full payment for the tour, unless I have cancelled my participation in writing prior to this date. Calculation of final price: We subtract R8000 from the total cost for the air ticket and administrative costs = R21580 The Euro 2185 will be multiplied by the buying exchange rate of the day eg. 2155 x 11 = R23705. After that we add the R8000. If the exchange rate drops to R11 the tour price will increase to R31705. If the exchange rate improves, the tour price will become cheaper. I expect Temba College CC and its employees to act in a reasonable manner towards my child and to consider his\her well-being and to protect him\her for the duration of the tour. Christian values will apply at all times. Temba College must present me with a final itinerary for the tour that starts on 22 Jun 2011 and which ends on 16 Jul 2012 not later than 15 May 2012. Any photographs taken of my child on tour or on which he/she appeared may be published without our consent and we shall not be entitled to any payment in this respect. As a parent I take note that the responsibility of Temba College CC and the respective tour guides towards my child will terminate should he\she be arrested, irrespective of the result of any possible ensuing court case, from the moment the arrest is made, and that the tour leader has taken all reasonable steps to inform me of such arrest. As a tour member I undertake to subject myself to the following rules and as parent I understand that the responsibility towards my child by Temba College CC and the tour guides could be terminated if he\she transgresses any part of this agreement. ALCOHOL: No hard liquor (vodka, brandy, tequila etc.) may be consumed during the tour. However, limited amounts of beer, breezers and natural wine will be permitted from time to time. No alcohol shall be allowed in any room or on buses and trains and no one may consume any alcohol whatsoever during the day. No person shall be allowed to transgress any laws of the countries to be visited. If your age is not yet 18 in terms of London and Switzerland, or 16 in Europe, you will not be allowed to consume any alcohol whatsoever. No teenager may be inebriated and action will definitely be taken against anyone transgressing these rules. SMOKING: We strongly discourage this habit. Tour members are never allowed to smoke in vehicles, rooms or buildings, even if this is not prohibited by law. No tour members will be allowed to smoke while standing in queues or other public places. No tour members may smoke during meal times. Tour members are cautioned that is it illegal to smoke under the age of 16 in all of the countries to be visited. Teenagers are requested not to smoke in the presence of adults, or even their peers, if this may cause embarrassment to anyone. GENERAL: Tour members will go to bed by no later than 24:00. Boys and girls will not be allowed to share rooms. No tour member will be allowed to go out with strangers and strangers will also not be allowed into our rooms. The tour leaders undertake to use the microphone in the buses as little as possible and the tour members undertake to devote their attention when necessary. As a parent I understand that the responsibility of Temba Travels and of the tour leaders towards my child shall terminate the moment he or she is found in possession of any drugs, including dagga, or if there is evidence that he\she uses any such substance. The tour leader shall act according to the "weight of evidence" and shall not be expected to prove any case "above all reasonable doubt". We expect that the tour leader shall at all times act responsibly and reasonably. We indemnify him\her and Temba College cc from any claim that may arise from any action that cannot be ascribed directly to the personal negligence of the tour leader or the company. We hereby declare that we have read the above, that we accept it and that we commit ourselves to the above. Persons aiming to disrupt the tour by transgressing this agreement, by not paying attention when they are spoken to, or who are continuously tardy, are respectfully requested not to book for this tour. We also accept that any such action shall indemnify Temba College cc and the tour leader from all responsibility towards the relevant tour member.
